Careers Master: Mr. MA Martin
Objectives
- To help students achieve a better understanding of themselves and explore their interests and aspirations
- To assist students in making well-informed choices regarding their further education and future careers
- To help students develop ownership of their career and life planning
- To equip students with careers and life planning skills which will help them implement their career and study plan
Job Description
- To collect, update, and disseminate information on further education, job opportunities, scholarships, and relevant education training programmes
- Conduct surveys on entry requirements of tertiary institutions in Hong Kong and overseas, their different careers and education opportunities, and design careers programmes upon the survey findings
- Process applications for further studies (transcripts and letters of recommendation)
- Help students process applications for scholarships and school nominations. Provide interview training for nominees.
- Invite guest speakers to talk and share on study and work opportunities
- Organise job shadowing programmes and career visits, giving students exposure to the working world
- Organise simulated interviews to prepare students for local and overseas university interviews
- Provide individual and group guidance on study and job opportunities
Discipline Team
Discipline Master: Mr. MAK John
Objectives
- To adopt a preventive and proactive approach in school discipline
- To improve school discipline and order through a collaborative approach by adopting a 3-tier structure: School Discipline Board, School Discipline Team, and Student Association (SA) Discipline Board
- To handle very serious discipline cases through the Serious Case Panel
- To develop students’ self-discipline and self-control
- To develop students’ accountability for their behaviour and responsibility for life
- To promote the values of honesty, fairness, and respect for others
- To enable self-reflection, conflict-resolution, and correction of misbehaviour in students
- To review existing school discipline policy and measures in relation to changes in society
Extra-Curricular Activities Coordination Team

Objectives
- To extend the scope of learning from classroom to other environments
- To develop students' multiple intelligence, creative, and innovation competencies

Form Teachers’ Period Team

Objectives
- To develop curriculum to imbue good moral values, to cultivate a healthy mental/physical mindset and to equip students with practical life skills on self-efficacy, self-management, self-awareness, relationship management and responsible decision-making
- To enhance professional capacity of Form Teachers to cater for students’ needs so as to strengthen their social and emotional competencies
- To conduct activities to engage Form teachers in quality interactions with their students
Programmes
- The theme of F.1-F.3 Form Teachers’ Period (FTP) is Personal Growth, which focuses on self-understanding through VIA, self-management and relationship management; whereas the theme of F.4-F.6 FTP is Life Skill Development, which focuses on careers planning and JUPAS application.
- Values education is embedded into the FTP teaching materials, such as gratitude, empathy, respect, responsibility, love and care for others. On the other hand, social and emotional competencies are strengthened through regular form level activities.
- All personal growth data (including VIA character strengths, S.M.A.R.T. goals) are stored in database.
National & Civic Education Team

Objectives

- To provide students with all-round learning experience conducive to their whole-person development in relation to the school theme, moral and civic education, national education, anti-drug education, life education, sex education, media and information literacy education, education for sustainable development and human rights education under the legal framework
- To foster proper values and attitudes as suggested in Values Education (e.g. respect for others, national identity, integrity, law-abidingness) through the coordination of learning activities
- To enhance students’ comprehensive understanding of the Constitution, Basic Law and National Security Education
Learning Support Services Team
Team Leader: Ms. TANG Clarice (Special Education Needs Coordinator)
Objectives
- To support students who lag behind their peers in academic performance
- To introduce suitable academic programmes to gifted students

- Big Brothers Mentoring Scheme: Senior students will give the target group (F.1-F.3) learning support such as tutorials and counselling in case of emotional and behavioural problems
- F.1 Summer Bridging Programme
- F.1-F.5 Learning Support Programme for less-able students
- F.3 Summer Programme: Students who fail in the F.3 Final Examination have to complete assignments in English, Chinese and Mathematics and sit for examinations during the summer holidays to help them catch up with their schoolwork.

- Promote gifted programmes/competitions, awards and scholarships, and leadership training programmes for students
- Enroll students in gifted programmes offered by different organisations

- To conduct the National Flag raising ceremony and the Speech under the flag
- To coordinate talks organised by teams and/or departments
- To maintain an orderly and balanced arrangement of assemblies so that they are evenly spread out across the year and across the forms
Community Outreach Team

Objectives
- To offer a unique opportunity for students to respond to Christ's call to the service of others
- To challenge students to look beyond their own concerns and to allow them to see that they have both the gifts and the responsibility to reach out to others, particularly the less-fortunate
- To liaise with the Service-Learning Panel and other service groups in the College
- To liaise with NGOs outside school
- To help students reflect on their service experiences and construct something meaningful out of them
