School Based Assessment

 

Regulations & Procedures Related to Internal School Based Assessment

 

In order to monitor the students' learning outcome and also to provide information for teachers to review their teaching strategies, assessment activities will be carried out throughout the term. Panel based Internal School Based Assessment activities will be carried out during the first and second term.

 

  1. First Term Internal School based assessment - September to end of November
  2. Second Term Internal School assessment - February to end of April
    1. Students are provided with an assessment schedule with their course outline at the beginning of the year identifying the mode of assessment employed, as well as the corresponding weight of scores counted.
    2. The Internal School Based Assessment scores will be converted to 20% of the subject mark in the forthcoming report.
    3. Students' Internal School Based Assessment results will be presented to parents about one month before the examination.
