On July 15, 2024, a team of four students representing Hong Kong achieved excellent results at the 35th International Biology Olympiad (IBO), winning two gold medals and two bronze medals. We are especially proud of one of the gold medalists, Hui Sze Man (6D) from La Salle College.

The 35th IBO was held from July 7 to 14 in Astana, Kazakhstan, with 290 contestants from 75 countries and regions participating in the competition. The Toasting Ceremony for the IBO was held on August 14, 2024.

Congratulations to Hui Sze Man for his outstanding performance! We wish him continued success in his future studies and endeavours.
