This year marks the Jubilee Holy Year, a time for renewal and reflection in our Catholic faith. On March 7th, our dedicated teaching staff, guided by Brother Thomas and accompanied by insightful local Catholic tour guides, came together for the spiritual journey.
During our visits, we explored the profound significance of three historic sites: St. Lawrence’s Church, where we appreciated the community’s enduring faith; St. Joseph’s Seminary and Church, a historic centre for priestly formation that inspired our commitment to education; and Penha Hill Chapel, where the sisters delighted us with delicious cookies and we engaged in personal reflection while hiking amidst the serene beauty overlooking the cityscape of Macau.
This pilgrimage not only deepened our spiritual connections but also provided an excellent opportunity for colleagues to bond outside of the campus. Colleagues explored the local cuisine and culture, built fond memories with each other and fostered an even stronger sense of community.
