Our Wind Orchestra, conducted by Mr Marco Leung, achieved remarkable success at the 2024 HK Youth Music Interflows. On December 6, the orchestra was awarded the Gold Award at the Secondary School Senior Class of the Symphonic Band Contest, where we performed J. Barnes’s Golden Festival Overture and H. Fukushima’s Sinfonietta No. 4 “For a Brighter Future”. Our outstanding performance placed us among the top 2 highest-scored groups, earning us an invitation to compete in the final contest, the Symphonic Band Extravaganza, on December 7.

At the Extravaganza, we proudly showcased our passion and professionalism for music with a performance of H. Fukushima’s Sinfonietta No. 4 “For a Brighter Future”, winning the hearts of the audience members.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated old boys and supportive parents for their unwavering encouragement throughout this journey. Your support has been invaluable.

Additionally, we congratulate the La Salle Primary School Symphonic Band, led by Mr. Kelvin Ngai, for winning the “Tom Lee Cup” in the Primary School Division.
