Congratulations to Ng Ames (4G), KWAN Zeu (4E) and HUI Kin Lam (4D) on their first solo flying experience at Pitt Meadows Regional Airport, Canada. The first solo is a prestigious achievement in aviation training and it is often an aviator’s most memorable experience. It is earned after completing a series of exercises that include spins, stalls, circuit flying and emergency procedures with an instructor. Upon the instructor’s approval, a student pilot will complete his/her first solo by flying a full circuit around the airport runway without the instructor at the cockpit. This achievement is often accompanied by a water pouring ceremony.
We would like to express our gratitude to Hong Kong Aerospace Leaders Association (HKALA), Mr. Samson Kwok (LSC old boy), Mr. Charlie Leung (parent helper) and Mr. Kennard Liu for their full support throughout the training programme.
