The Senior and Junior Form Assemblies took place on 12th and 15th March respectively. These assemblies served as a platform to showcase students’ participation in both internal and external events.

Both assemblies commenced with a sharing of his participation from the event Junior Chief Executive Policy Address, organised by the Boys’ and Girls’ Clubs Association of Hong Kong. 3A Lukas Cheng, being one of the “Junior Chief Executives, gave a presentation at the Junior Chief Executive Press Conference after travelling to Taiwan with the other junior chief executives.

Student ambassadors from the National and Civic Education Team shared about their visit to the Drug Info Centre. They learn about the wonders of life without drugs by means of multimedia presentations, interactive games, and participatory processes combined with real-world cases and sharing. During the visit, psychologist, Agnes Leung, spoke about pursuing purpose instead of transient pleasures during the visit. The gathering also covered the negative effects that drugs can have on the body, including impaired judgement and driving while intoxicated. The school would like students to actively seek assistance when facing challenges and to abstain from drug use.

Additionally, 3D Adrian Lam and 4D Harold Chan shared their experience as student-hosts of the Argentina exchange program, organised by the school and co-hosted with Maryknoll Convent School. The programme welcomed a team of students from Collegio De La Salle Buenos Aires (College De La Salle Buenos Aires) from Argentina. Having international visitors is undoubtedly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for our students, and this special event has given both our students and the exchange students new insights of cultural differences and enduring friendships.

The Assemblies were concluded with a message from the Principal, Mr. Leung, regarding the upcoming school activities and the Assessment Week.
